When you go on this expedition with us, you should take into account that on each day of fishing you may come face to face with the big pike of your life. This is the largest pike fishery in Europe! And there is no doubt about it! Our guides have been fishing on Rugi for 17 years! This is not an offer for every angler, but every demanding pike angler will have a chance to fulfill their dreams. We mainly focus on catching specimen pike, large perch or large zander.
The island of Rügen in Germany has incredible fishing potential. Most of the inland and marine fish that inhabit this region of Europe live here. Pike, zander and perch are caught here, as well as garfish, cod and large salmon. These are vast expanses of water and an immeasurable resource of predators. Rügen is an island with many huge bays. When fishing on some of them, you cannot see the shores of the island. This is the best pike fishing spot in the world! There are a lot of fish over a meter in size here. Specialists look for pikes exceeding 120 centimeters in these waters! That’s not all, because there is a real chance to catch a pike exceeding 130 or even 140 centimeters! It is real because such fish are caught there. There are many restrictions in the Rügen water area to protect fish and all other animals. The “catch & release” method for caught pike is promoted in the fishery. Trolling is completely prohibited in the “internal” waters of Rügen. Fishing for pike in this area is not simple and easy. You have to take into account difficult conditions on the water and changeable weather. During the season, there are days when it is not even possible to sail out into the bays. However, later persistent hunters are blessed with truly beautiful fish. Moreover, Rügen is a very interesting and beautiful place. In your free time, you can visit Rügen and see its most beautiful places. Rügen has a very diversified coastline, from large, vast bays to several dozen-meter-high cliffs, which are typical of the Irish coast.
Availability of the fishing spot
Access to the best fishing spots is provided by a suitably large and high boat with a combustion engine of at least 50 HP. Fishing from the shore is relatively difficult due to the limited access to the shores.
Recommended fishing methods
The basic method of catching predatory fish is, of course, spinning or casting with artificial baits. Predators can also be caught with an artificial fly.
Limits and restrictions
You can take 1 pike per day from the fishing spot to the boat, size 55 – 75 cm. We release all remaining pikes back into the water. You can also take other species of fish from the fishery, but only in quantities needed for current consumption on site.
Accommodation and fishing service
Guests have at their disposal 2 professional 3-4 person Kruger Boats 5.35 meter fishing boats with 50 HP engines. The boats are equipped with full electronics – Garmin GPS with NECESSARY sea maps and a professional echo sounder. The boats also have drift anchors for drift fishing. Buoyancy vests are also provided. Full fishing equipment and bait are included in the price of the trip.
Accommodation in comfortable apartments (option for 3, 4 or 6 people) or double rooms (option for 1-2 people). The apartments have 2 rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, etc.). In addition, the apartments and rooms have bathrooms with toilets and heating. Please note that in apartments and rooms there are mainly double beds.

Duration: 6-day stays (4 days of fishing), starting on any day of the week. Attention! Possibility of coming for a shorter or longer stay.

Number of participants: from 1 to 6 people. For 1-3 people there is 1 guide and 1 unit. For 4-6 people there are 2 guides and 2 units.
Accommodation: accommodation in comfortable apartments (option for 3, 4 or 6 people) or double rooms (option for 1-2 people).
Meals: on your own.

Fishing Guide: 4 days of guided fishing is included in the package price. The best specialists on Rügen – Mateusz Kalkowski (Pro Team Savage Gear. One of the best fishing guides in Europe) and Adam Wójcik (Recommended big pike hunter. He has caught many fish over 120 cm and has a great record of 131 cm). Possibility to rent a guide for more or less days.

For 1-2 people, the price is 3050 PLN per person.
For 3 people, the price is 2950 PLN per person.
For 4 people, the price is 2850 PLN per person.
For 5-6 people, the price is 2750 PLN per person.

The price was calculated at the EUR exchange rate on 01.10.2023 and may change in the event of a change in exchange rate. In some cases, the given price may change because it depends on many factors, such as the number of participants, availability of specific houses or apartments, availability of specific types of boats, etc. Our Customer Service Department will provide you with more information upon request. The price includes VAT.

– a large boat with a 50 HP internal combustion engine (fully equipped with professional electronics – echo sounder, GPS). For 4-6 people there are 2 boats and 2 guides.

– care of a Polish/English-speaking fishing guide during the entire trip.
– fishing licenses (the license is included in the price only if you have a fishing card, without a card there is an additional fee of 36 EUR per person).

Paid additionally:
On your own:
– access to the site.
– transfer from the place of accommodation to the port and back, from which the fishing trip takes place (approximately 10 km one way). For those who do not want to travel to the port, it is possible to take a large car with a guide (Opel Vivaro) or there is the possibility of accommodation near the port.

Refundable deposit: 100 EUR per person, paid on the day of departure and returned on the last day of the trip.
When using the guide’s equipment, we also charge for broken and damaged baits and for damaged guide sets (fishing rod, reel, line, leader).
Important information:
– due to difficult weather conditions, it is possible that on a given day we will be forced to fish only in selected places (strong wind and high waves).
– if it is completely impossible to go to the fishing spot (very strong wind and high waves making fishing impossible), the lost fishing day is compensated when making a reservation for the next trip to Rügen.
