Black Bass
b
Bass czarny jako gatunek stanowiskowy wybiera spokojne, głębokie zatoki i starorzecza, gdzie przebywa wśród korzeni, gałęzi zatopionych krzewów i drzew oraz pomiędzy leżącymi na dnie dużymi kamieniami. W płytkiej wodzie przebywają wyłącznie młode ryby. To świetna sportowa ryba. Ponadto wymaga zastosowania odpowiedniego sprzętu i odpowiednich przynęt.

Sea Bass
b
The sea bass is one of Europe’s bravest fish. The bass is very fast and unpredictable. While being towed, it uses every defect of the equipment and every mistake made by the angler. The bass season starts at the end of April and lasts till November with a break between May 15th and June 15th (the fish is protected at that time). The bass may be caught all day long and even at night. It is hunt for from the beaches and from the rocks in case of shallow places. The bait consists mainly of wobblers (close to the surface) as well as slightly heavier rubber baits. You may catch several basses within an hour. The biggest bass caught near Dingle are 80 cm long and weigh 5-6 kg. But you will never forget towing a bass of 60 cm. The catch of the bass attracted by artificial bait is very spectacular. Sea trout is also very interested in bass baits. The second kind of fish which may be regularly caught from the Dingle peninsula’s cliffs, is the pollock. The pollock is attracted by typical Polish rubber bait (e.g. twisters) as well as wobblers. The most popular fish is 50-60 cm long but fish of 70 cm is very common. Next to the bass, the pollock and the trout, the mackerel, the coalfish, the garfish, the wrasse and mullets may be caught as well.

Asp
b
The prey fish from the carp family is notorious for its spectacular bleak hunts. The fish is born to live in the relatively strong current, which makes it even more attractive for fishermen. Its noisy splashes into the shoals of threatened fish may be seen from the distance. They show perfectly well where the asp are hunting. The spectacular hunts don’t mean, however, that it’s easy to catch the asp. Many fishers believe that the asp is one of the most careful fish in Polish rivers, especially in the Narew, but also in the Warsaw Vistula river. With a proper bait, and what’s even more important, with the knowledge of the asp habits and their fishery, it’s not that difficult to catch the fish. Our guides catch fish of 70-80 cm of size every year.

Barbell

A strong rod, a weigh, a hook, a piece of cheese. This is how people used to catch the barbell, believed to be one of the strongest fish in our rivers. This is the past. We are able to find spots at the river where – provided you have the right wobbler – you may be successful. This fish is very hard to be caught with the spinning but we know where and how to catch it. The barbell gives you lots of emotions, it’s an unbelievably brave fish. It is able to fight like a locomotive in a strong current. Comparing its size with other fish, it is the strongest fish in Poland. We will help you catch it.

Dorada
b

Huchen
b
The fish from the salmon family may reach 20 kg of weight in our waters. Today, with lots of fishers and poachers, a fish weighing over 10 kg is a big achievement. The fish caught most often have 70-90 cm of size and weigh 4-9 kg. Taking into account the small amount of fish, it is a big success to catch any huchen at all. Despite rare contacts with the fish, there are lots of people who want to hunt for it. The huchen is very fussy as far as its food is concerned. It is able not to look for food for two weeks, and then to do it for one day before a break of several days. This irregularity is the result of the type of food eaten. If the fish catches another big fish, of 1-2 kg of weigh, it’s impossible to catch it in practice. The breaks amount to seven days then. If its food consists of small fish, there are big chances to catch it. It depends on the water level to a large extent.

The ide is a representative of prey fish. In some periods, it may be caught with the spinning baits. This is a great rival, which may surprise you with its strength and willingness to fight. A big ide, towed just under the surface of the water, shows how brave it is. Hunting for the ide with the spinning is very nice. Moreover, it is possible to catch this fish at night, which means another attraction and adrenaline for the angler.

It has been popular for a long time already to catch the chub with artificial bait but it gets more and more popular all the time. Small wobblers or other spinning bait, used at the right place in the river, are a chance to catch this wise and sly fish. We know it is very shy and it’s not easy to get closer to it. The nature, however, knows how to reward a patient spinning fisher. Big chub in a strong current is the right rival. It is very brave and beautiful at the same time.

b
The grayling like strong current, similarly to the brown trout. They live most often in the same rivers, or rivers which are of similar character. Unlike the pike, which usually live alone, the grayling like to live in herds. Depending on how much food there is in the river, the fish live in smaller or bigger groups. One may find them most often in places where the current is distinctive, the bottom is hard enough (stony or gravely most often). It is not uncommon, however, at places with slower current. The grayling is a very interesting rival and it belongs to very brave fish. A grayling 40 cm long may be a real problem. The grayling is most often caught with the fly fishing method. In some periods, it may be hunted for with the spinning.

This is a very cunning rival. One of the most interesting prey fish which may be caught with both the spinning and the fly fishing methods. The brown trout is the right rival for every angler. It may surprise you many times with its braveness and strength. Just fishing for the trout is an unforgettable thing. Trout rivers are most often very beautiful and charming places. They are very differentiated as far as their character and size are concerned. Hunting for the trout, because this is how you should call fishing for this prey fish, means constant hiding, quiet moves and stealing to this sly and shy fish. The trout is a serious rival. It is so beautiful that one feels like taking its photos. Feel invited to the fisheries where our guides catch brown trout on the regular basis.

Blue Shark
b
Żarłacz Błękitny - Prionace glauca (ang. Blue Shark). Czas dopłynięcia do łowiska to ok 1,5 godziny.
Do linki głównej wiażemy przypon z linki stalowej o średnicy około 2 milimetrów i długości najlepiej 3-4 metrów.

It is believed to be one of the tastiest fish. This may be the reason why its fisheries where it used to be very popular have been emptied. Now you need to exactly know the fisheries where the prey fish stays or hunts, in order to catch the sander. Today, this is a very demanding and fickle rival. It is able to surprise you with a ‘strange’ place of living but also with how aggressive it is or how unwilling to eat it is. The choice of the right bait as well as the knowledge how and where to use this bait may turn out to be successful. Night hunting for this prey fish is an additional attraction. These moments are full of adrenaline. With some luck in fishing, the angler may remember them forever.

The river trout and the salmon live in two environments. The river trout reaches 1 m of length and 12-13 kg of weigh, but in our waters specimen of 6-8 kg are believed to be big. The salmon reaches much bigger sizes. The anglers catch specimen weighing 10-12 kg while every year real giants weighing over 20 kg are caught by the anglers. The spawning wanderings of both fish take place from July till the fall. The spawning lasts from November to late December. The trout and the salmon have similar ways of spawning. Then, the young fish of both types, after 2 years spent in the river, swim into the sea where they start to grow up and hunt. The trout, similarly to the salmon, have the scent of the river they come from well encoded in their brains. That’s why the majority of them come back for spawning to their original rivers. The number of brown trout is much bigger than the number of the salmon. The reason is that the salmon stocking is smaller. The trout and salmon of under 35 cm of length are protected.
