Lake Corrib is the biggets lake in northern Ireland. Its length measures 38 kilometers, riverside is about 180 kilometers and 365 islands. Maximum depth is about 45 meters.
Lake Corrib is inhabited by roaches, perches, brown trouts, pikes, and from time to time you can see sea trouts and salmons. Each of these species can get enormous size.
On lake we find all type of places. From shallow bays overgrown with greenery , through underwater rocky hillock, sandy surfaces and ended on river inflow. It has still connection with ocean. Lake is surranded by magnificent Conamar Maountains and many historic ruins.
Water is enough transparent. It helps to feats the look of fighting fish.
The biggest attractions of lake are huge brown trouts (FEROX). They can even grown over 90 centimeters. The second main attractions are pikes. There are plenty of them. And really enormous individuals live there. We can catch pikes all over the year , but brown trouts between 15th February to 31st September.
